Month Two

Box Two is designed to stimulate baby’s sense of hearing and sight. Lots of noise makers will come out of this one! Everything in this box is perfect to start tummy time with baby and keep them occupied. Baby Discovery Box wants parent and baby to enjoy their time together through sound and reading books. Here is what will be included in Box Two:

“What Can I Hear” book: From rattling raindrops to eeky, squeaky mice, babies explore the sense of hearing.
“Tummy Time, Happy Baby” book: This book is the best for tummy time. This book is a small and sturdy accordion style book that opens up and can stand alone, making it easy for your baby to enjoy tummy time. One side features colorful images and the other is high-contrast black and white patterns, perfect for baby’s developing eyes.
Wrist Rattle: Babies will go goo-goo for this rattle. Soft and comfy to wear on baby’s wrist or ankle. Keep an eye out to see if they notice where the sound of the rattle is coming from.
Sassy Spin Rattle: This rattle encourages vision development with its bold colors allowing baby to focus. While the gentle rattle sounds develop sound differentiation and sound location skills. The click-clack rings provide auditory and visual stimulation for your baby as well.
Squeeze Teether: This teether will keep baby engaged with the crinkle sound and a squeaker inside. Both parent and baby can play activities with this teether. Point and name off the different colors and shapes. Scrunch your hands and notice how baby reacts to the crinkle sound. So many ways to engage baby.

I found the boxes extra special with having the 2nd baby. It gave us something to celebrate each month when we are all so busy and overwhelmed with having a toddler and a baby. This is a great subscription for new parents! Each box came with a book, a few developmental and educational toys, and a handful of other goodies: snacks, feeding supplies, etc. I found each of the items to be high quality. Highly recommend! Christina

I received a 6 month subscription of Discovery boxes as a baby gift for my 2nd child. We loved them so much we continued our subscription for the full year! Every month my toddler helps open his little sister’s Discovery Box. It’s exciting for all of us and helps us celebrate baby #2 and allow them some of their “own” toys. Everything is age and developmentally appropriate and takes out the stress of having to research and purchase things individually. I absolutely love when it talks about at each month what they’re becoming more aware of, etc. for instance when it spoke about sounds and rattles. I started using the rattle technique while he does tummy time so he can follow the noise. Nikki

We received Baby Discovery Boxes as a gift and it was awesome! Love all the different interactive toys that we received through the 12 month subscription. Every box was geared perfectly for that month and got our little one engaging in different activities. So many fun, quality toys that even our 3 year old loved to explore and teach baby. I wasn’t just excited to see what toys were going to be in the box, but I looked forward every month to getting new tips on motherhood and the development of baby.
