You look down at your baby doing something sweet and adorable, and snap a picture. The picture is perfect in every way. You pull up Instagram. Should you post that picture? Here are some things to consider.
Do work when your baby is awake. Save nap time for you. Let your baby be ever so slightly involved in what you are doing, or at least able to see you moving around and doing, while you give the baby some attention during your process.
Ah, potty-training. Those who find it easy are a happy minority. Those who find it horrifying are all too common. There is no easier way, only methods with different levels of work at different stages. So let’s go over what your options are.
There are so many companies desperate for a bite of new parents. They are spending millions of dollars putting their products on billboards, in the hands of influencers, and all over ad slots on websites. If you search “best products for baby” the Google results probably reach from here to Peru.
Don’t be guilt-tripped into seeing everyone on Christmas. Make arrangements that work for you and baby and revolve around nap times.

When you don’t have support, motherhood can be so much harder. Finding a mom tribe is so, so helpful. From having someone to listen to your concerns and say, “Oh, that’s normal,” to having a reason to leave the house and a place that won’t judge you for wearing second day (or fourth day) hair, a mom tribe is an important place for you.
